With click dentures you will have two or more implants placed in the lower and upper jaw. These are metal rods that are placed in the jawbone where the dentures are clicked into place. Furthermore, pressure spots are rare with click dentures. Another advantage is that the palate remains free. For some people, this may feel more comfortable than full dentures.
The treatment of click dentures is more radical than with dentures. When measuring dentures, there is no surgical intervention by the dentist-implantologist. You will also have to take into account a longer healing process than when extracting teeth to dentures.

There are situations in which you receive a reimbursement from the basic insurance, for example if you have a toothless jaw that has shrunk so much that dentures no longer fit. In addition to the dental costs, you also pay material and technical costs. In total, the costs can amount to € 5,000 or even more (depending on the number of implants).

If you already have implants, you will receive an immediate appointment with the dental implantologist. The dental implantologist will check the implants and map out your dental situation. Your implants will also be checked during this appointment and cleaned if necessary. Do you no longer have your own teeth and do you need to replace your click dentures? Then we can submit an application to your health insurer.
In most cases, we receive approval within a very short period of time. After receiving approval, we immediately start the treatment process. Depending on the health insurer, we do not have to submit an application in certain situations. The next step is that you come by to measure and manufacture your new click dentures. This usually consists of five visits. We can often provide you with new click dentures within 5 working days.
